WANDL at the RTK Networking Event in Munich

Last month, we had the pleasure of taking part in the networking event hosted by Round Table Konferenzhotels (RTK) in Munich. And as so often, one thing quickly became clear: nothing can replace personal interaction.

Around 20 selected member venues presented their individual concepts on site – ranging from alpine retreats to urban design hotels. A diversity that highlights just how varied and inspiring event locations can be today.

What makes this event particularly valuable is the opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of a wide range of locations in a very short time.

Through direct conversations, corporate clients were able to:

  • compare different venues side by side
  • develop initial ideas for upcoming projects
  • exchange insights on new concepts and trends
  • and get a genuine feel for the unique character of each location

This compact yet intensive format creates real added value – for everyone involved.

Encounters That Last

At the heart of the event – as is typical for RTK – was personal exchange. No long distances, no detours: instead, direct conversations, genuine interest, and open dialogue on equal footing.

For us at WANDL, this is exactly what such formats are all about. Because great events are not only created by spaces, but by the people who bring them to life.

The atmosphere on site was shaped by curiosity, professionalism, and a shared understanding of how crucial the right location is for the success of any event.

WANDL in Dialogue

As a venue provider, the event offered us a valuable opportunity to share our perspective while also gaining new inspiration.

Direct exchange with companies and fellow venues helps us to:

  • better understand evolving requirements
  • identify trends at an early stage
  • and continuously refine our own concepts

It is through dialogue that the essentials become clear – and how spaces can be created that are both functional and inspiring.

Thank You & See You Soon

A big thank you to Uschi Huber and Christian Alexander Beckmann for the excellent organization, and to Ernst Löffler for capturing such great impressions in images.

We are already looking forward to the next RTK gathering – and to many more conversations, ideas, and collaborations to come.

Magic in the Alps: A look back at the Speakery Summit 2025 at WANDL

Speakery Summit 2025

When the crème de la crème of the international speaker scene meets the tranquillity of the Bavarian Alps, the result is an energy that is difficult to put into words. The Speakery Summit 2025 at WANDL was no ordinary event – it was a turning point for modern storytelling and healthy entrepreneurship.

Bühne frei

Anyone who knows Marcus John Henry Brown knows that a ‘Speakery’ event is no ordinary business seminar. It is a production, a journey and – especially here at Klausmeisterhof – a deep immersion into the art of performance. As hosts at WANDL, we had the privilege of witnessing numerous selected professionals from all over the world make the pilgrimage to the Bavarian Alps to hone their voices and presence.

Arrival

MORE THAN JUST WORDS: THE SPEAKERY METHOD AT WANDL

Set against the natural backdrop of the Alps, far removed from the dreary everyday conference routine, the summit provided the perfect location for effective speaker training and authentic performance. WANDL became a safe haven for courageous voices. While the Speakery Method provided the common thread from strategy to stage performance, our natural location provided the space for creative development that makes effective speaker coaching possible in the first place.

Inspiring guest speakers: Big names such as author Brianna Wiest, journalist Emma Nelson and artist Mr Bingo shared their secrets about effective communication.

Networking at ‘Breaking Bread’: Real connections often form between sessions – over Bavarian delicacies, long walks through the mountains and deep conversations at our table.

WHY WANDL IS THE IDEAL EVENT LOCATION FOR THE SPEAKERY SUMMIT

Participant Lisa Riemers aptly described her experience at the Speakery Summit as a ‘leap into the unknown’ that felt like coming home.

That is precisely our mission at WANDL: we create a retreat for leadership retreats and creative workshops where people can work efficiently and surpass themselves.

VISIBLE. CONNECTED. STRONG. THE FEMALE BUSINESS FORCE

Modern entrepreneurship doesn’t need old clichés; it needs a solid foundation and the right connections. This is exactly why WANDL in Ruhpolding served as the stage for an event set to make a lasting impact on the regional economy: The official launch of the FEMALE BUSINESS FORCE.

Female Business Force Launch at WANDL

As the initiators of this network, our goal was to create a space where craftsmanship meets high-tech and vision meets experience. Nearly 45 entrepreneurs, founders, and decision-makers gathered to live exactly what our credo stands for: Visible. Networked. Strong.

Networking at WANDL

Synergies at eye level

The atmosphere in our Tenne was great. Between clean lines, wood, and modern design, a cross-industry working group emerged that went far beyond surface level. Whether hospitality, the startup scene, science, or industry – the diversity in the room reflected the true power that arises when expertise is pooled.

Impulses that move

At the heart of the evening was a moderated session that got straight to the point. Experts like Birgit Sailer (Hofbräuhaus Traunstein), Ina Fuchshuber (TH Rosenheim), Annabell Pichler (HELDS Vitalhotel), Susanne Trojer (BSH Hausgeräte), and Susanne Gstatter (WirEntwickelnZukunft) shared their perspectives on the future of female economic power.

Our initiator Moni Harlinghausen-Smith led the proceedings as Facilitator. The goal was clear: The Female Business Force is an interactive platform for women who want to actively shape the future.

“The launch showed that the need for genuine, high-caliber networking is immense. We have struck a chord, and the energy of the participants was absolutely impressive.” – Moni Harlinghausen-Smith

The foundation is set – what’s next?

Following the impulses, the get-together led straight to action: Initial partnerships were formed, contacts deepened, and visions for the future were drawn. This is just the beginning, and we are only getting started.
