We are a family business, driven by the power couple Monika Harlinghausen-Smith and Curt Simon Harlinghausen. Both have traveled a lot, have supported companies in change processes and value nature. With WANDL, the couple opens up their farm, their experience and their attention to detail to their guests.
Monika and Simon live with 4 children and a few animals at the Klausmeisterhof and have renovated the place over 3 years with dedication and local craftsmanship and made it what it is now. The CHANGE.
Ruhpolding
The location is brilliant. With just an hour’s drive from Munich and half an hour from Salzburg, we are easily accessible from all over the world. And yet the WANDL at Klausmeisterhof is secluded, in absolute peace at the foot of the Unternberg.
That’s cool because the Unterberg still has good snow in winter, the ski slope goes right past our house and the guests can either get on their skis themselves, or to see touring skiers doing sports. In spring our meadows bloom with an incredible spectrum of forest and meadow herbs. And in summer you can swim wonderfully in the surrounding lakes. Autumn is colorful and perfect for hiking for all the senses. The Unternberg is not too demanding, has very nice routes to improve your fitness or just soak up the air and nature.
The Klausmeisterhof
Our Klausmeisterhof is a listed farmhouse from 1740. The farm, picturesquely located on a slope, was built in the style of a Traunstein farm Mountain house. We completely modernized it in 2021 – 2023. The barrier-free and digitalized courtyard offers a conference hall, a lounge and 10 guest rooms for events with up to 60 people, exclusive weddings and sophisticated meetings. With a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen and terraces, we create a unique atmosphere. Catering and chefs are available upon request, and our pizza oven is great for creating and baking your own pizzas. In a great atmosphere by the fire.
The holiday apartment
Our home is a luxurious holiday home with sauna, large bathroom, two guest toilets, kitchen-living room with fireplace and two air-conditioned rooms. Space for up to 4 people and 1 child. All hotel benefits are included. Fully equipped with kitchen, terrace and view of the mountain and valley.
Klausmeisterhof conference room
The WANDL brings the best urban to the Klausmeisterhof in Ruhpolding. Deceleration, focus and at the same time wealth of ideas, activity and innovative spirit. Our conference room offers space for up to 60 people as a conference, and up to 24 people in a workshop setting. Exclusive weddings and sophisticated events can be easily combined with our outdoor kitchen. Catering and chefs are available upon request. We offer modern conference technology, fast internet, a professional sound system, and our own TV – and Podcast Studioand various instruments.
Tanke conference room
We know how important a change of location can be for your own creativity and team spirit. And if you can combine that with a delicious coffee or tea, the day is already a different one. That’s why we transformed the old gas station in the town center into a new place to work. And in addition to a Co.Working office, a conference room was also created, which is directly connected to the TV studio. There you can either hold conferences with up to 20 people, or you can use your own format, such as yoga courses, seminars, etc., with recorders and then take the finished production home with you.
