Cybersecurity at Klausmeisterhof: A Look Back at an Evening on NIS2 and CRA

When a topic is hot, you need the right venue. When the team from Saphira Security and the BVMW planned an open information session on NIS2 and CRA, we were there—as hosts, providing the setting, and quietly helping to shape the evening.

The EU regulations NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act are currently a major concern for companies across all industries. Which businesses are affected? What specific requirements will apply? And what happens if you wait and see? These were precisely the questions the participants brought to our Klausmeisterhof that evening—and they came with an openness we won’t soon forget.

What we particularly enjoyed that evening: The atmosphere at WANDL set the tone for the conversation right from the start. No sterile conference room, no seating in rigid rows—but our Klausmeisterhof with its blend of wood, warmth, and clean lines. There was no hard line between the expert presentation and the open discussion. People moved around, asked questions, and debated.

That’s exactly why we’re here. We believe that good content deserves a space that matches it—and that the venue should always be at the service of the people within it.

NIS2 tightens requirements for risk management, reporting obligations, and executive-level accountability—and affects significantly more companies than before. The Cyber Resilience Act goes a step further: in the future, cybersecurity is to be built into connected products from the outset, rather than added as an afterthought.

For many in the room, this was not an abstract theory, but an urgent practical reality. The discussions were lively, the questions concrete. One phrase that stuck with me: Cybersecurity is no longer an IT issue—it’s a top priority. After the official program ended, everyone stayed together for a long time. That’s how it should be.

THANK YOU – AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Saphira Security, the BVMW, and all participants for this evening. It makes us proud when our venue becomes the setting for conversations that truly make a difference.

Are you planning a similar event? We look forward to hearing from you.
